Soup du Joor ~ Private Party Catering

Food was good. Potatos were overdone. She was professional, responsive, and responsible. Everything on the order was as we wanted it, no surprises. Only thing we would change is having two meat choices instead of one for that price.

Joor Erin (Soup du Joor) did a terrific job in catering our wedding. Our initial tasting set the tone for our event planning. Joor impressed us as being well organized, energetic and well...an excellent cook. She had lots of ideas to tailor our menu to our event. We decided upon a menu that fit our family event at a lake home and that included several children. After the ceremony we all lingered in at lakeside and enjoyed appetizers of individual parmesan baskets, bacon wrapped water chestnuts and cheese balls with crackers. My wife still talks about those cheese balls! Our outdoor dinner featured chicken, ham and swiss roll ups served with broccoli and thyme cream sauce. The chicken was a crowd pleaser (even with the kids) and was served with fresh asparagus, rice pilaf, cheddar puffs, and fresh berries. Joor surprised us and our guests with seasoned pretzel party favors. These were a treat on our flight to Hawaii the following day! Joor's professionalism and expertise made our wedding planning easy and our wedding day delicious. We highly recommend Soup du Joor for any event.
