Sassafras was able to take ideas that I'd come up with and turn them into real-life product. They are easy to work with and quick to respond and I couldn't have been any happier with my flowers on my wedding day. I highly recommend Sassafras Floral & Garden Design!

I was extremely pleased with Sassafras Floral & Garden design. Sarah, our florist, asked us questions pertaining to our wedding vision as well as questions to get to know us as a couple during our first meeting. She was a great listener and did an excellent job incorporating our ideas into her design. We had a decent sized wedding with a wedding party of 10 people and 35 tables at the reception. She was flexible with changes in numbers and design. The quality of the bouquets, boutonnières, and centerpieces were exceptional and delivered/arranged on time. Sarah is a complete professional and her work helped make our wedding perfect :).

The 3 Sarahs at Sassafras really made flowers the easiest part of my wedding. I met with them once, and they asked all the right questions and were genuinely interested in getting the right feel for me. They explained their ideas, showed me some similar stuff, and that was that. I was a little bit of a control freak bride, but I trusted them with the flowers - it was so fun to have a surprise on my wedding day that exceeded all expectations!

We used Sassafras Floral and Garden Design for our wedding in Minneapolis in June 2011. The quality of their service was exceptional. Much of our communication was via email since I live in Scotland or with my mother who is based in MN. Sassafras was amazingly patient, responsive, and flexible to/with our requests. They interpreted my somewhat vague ideas into beautiful and unique bridal flowers and an amazingly decorated church and reception venue which we received many compliments on. I would highly recommend Sassafras Floral and Garden Design for your event. They are creative, fantastic to work with and a great value!

I used Sassafras even though I had a very small wedding. They helped put together small table bouquets as well as some flowers for the bride and flower girl. Even though I did not spend a lot of money, they still spent the same amount of time and energy making my day special.

After interviewing 8 florists, we decided to work with Sassafras for our daughter's wedding. The major deciding factor was that I truly felt that they would create the look that we wanted, within our budget and without problems. Many florists will say they will do what you envision, but in fact everything they show you is contrary to showing the breadth of their style according to what their clients request. Sassfrass not only listens intently to insure they understand what you want, they also have a plethora of example photos that show the variety of 'looks' they have created for many events! They are top notch, very professional and really a delight to work with. AND they deliver what they promise! I would not hesitate to refer this great florist for any of your upcoming events. I'm confident they will bring the spectacular and 'wow' to your event through their excellence in floral decor!

Sassafras was absolutely wonderful and ended up being my favorite wedding vendor. They were easy to work with and really went above and beyond my expectations. My flowers were stunning, and I was so glad not to have to worry about set up. They drove about an hour out of cities to deliver and set my flowers up for me (and very early in the morning too). I, without a doubt will be using them when it comes time to have a baby shower or any event that needs flowers that I can think of! You'll be so happy that you went with Sassafras, I know that I was!

Our wedding flowers were absolutely perfect! I swear our wedding looked like the set of a movie wedding. It was just so dreamy and cool. Sarah, Sarah, and Sara are an amazing, energetic, and creative team. They incorporated some items I had into the flowers and they made the whole experience feel like a collaboration (even though they were the brains coming up with all the great ideas). They used colorful pots and vases from their own collection which really added to the eclectic look of our wedding. It was truly a unique and beautiful experience.

When I saw the flowers, I jumped for joy - the flowers were amazing, even better than I imagined. I loved them and they did such a great job with ideas, help and giving me what I asked for. I HIGHLY recommend them. They even help me reduce the cost to stick in my budget and the flowers were still perfect.

I described to them the type of flowers I wanted and the vision I had in my head and they were able to produce it perfectly - even better than I imagined! They did an amazing job! They were great listeners. I also came up with a unique decorating idea that included 12' Birch branches and uplighting and they were able to find it all and set it all up just like I invisioned. I was so impressed! All the girls at Sassafras are super nice and personable. They were amazing and very talented. I highly recommend them!

That Sassafras gals were fantastic! They were really helped me narrow in on flowers that I liked that would be available my time of year and thus less expensive. They were willing to work with supplied materials and they had great ideas. They really helped me keep my cost down while making the decorations and flowers look fabulous. We are going to look to hire them to help us with some garden design as well!

From the moment that I sat down with the Sara(h)s of Sassafras Floral, I knew that they were the only team I would trust with the florals for our wedding. These women possess incredible intelligence, creativity, professionalism, warmth, and effortless style. The aesthetic is fresh and sophisticated yet approachable. I loved the combination of high end, on trend style mixed with an earthy, eco-friendly sensibility. The planning process went smoothly. The team was responsive and efficient. They are so fun! They listened to my ideas with respect and seamlessly guided them into a beautiful vision for the day. My bridesmaids adored their bouquets and guests raved about the gorgeous centerpieces. Their designs brought me to tears and absolutely made the day. There are so many stresses on a bride-to-be, but I can honestly say that working with the team at Sassafras Floral was a worry-free delight. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I live in Chicago and hosted an engagement party for 120 in Minneapolis on Sept. 20, 2008 for a family friend. Because I have no Minneapolis-connections (other than the bride) I did my initial shopping-for-a-vendor over the Internet. I loved Sassafras Garden's website and so called to discuss the event. Although Sarah and I only talked over the phone (and never met face-to-face) her execution was flawless. I could not have been happier with the flowers. The restaurant looked terrific.

Sarah B. did a great job listening to what we liked and guiding us through different flowers based on what we said we liked. In the end the flowers completely transformed the room and they stayed on our budget while maintaining the vision I had for the day (which was definitely not on our budget =). All of our guests commented on how beautiful everything looked. Not a flower was wilting for our summer wedding!
