Russell's Catering

I wish I could give out some "6's" here. Darek with Russell's Catering (Catering service from Russell's on the Lake) is absolutely one of the most stand-up guys me & my fiance have ever met. Darek is the most energetic, kind, and excited vendor we worked with! Not to mention he is a total expert on catering & putting out some REALLY GOOD FOOD! Even better, he is more than reasonable with his pricing, and we really left feeling like we wanted to do more for him because he did such a good job! We knew we would be in good hands with Darek, and we absolutely were. He knows how to run a swift & professional operation at the Semple Mansion, and it absolutely went off without a hitch! He is amazing! & we even had some special orders for food allergies & some special drink requests -- all were executed with flying colors. His team also helped with some of the change-over from the ceremony to the cocktail hour, and gladly placed our table cloths, candles, and petals on the table for us. Also, since we're not cake people Darek whipped up some custom deserts of chocolate brownie sundaes served out of cocktail glasses -- a total show stopper!!! & if you want filet mignon at your wedding that is cooked to a PERFECT medium...Darek is your guy. THANK YOU DAREK!

Darek and his staff are very responsive and professional. Our wedding guests said that our food was the best wedding food they have ever had!

Russell's did an excellent job with our wedding! I had so many compliments from everyone at the wedding regarding their food! I believe they gained business just by catering our wedding! The food was outstanding and the service was excellent! Price was great too!! I highly recommend them!

Russell's was the most reasonably priced caterer that I had to choose from for our wedding at the Semple Mansion. I had huge concern that this would be reflected in the food and the quality of the service. I was blown away! I'm sure my guests thought I paid $50+ per plate considering the presentation, the service and of course the taste of the food. I am so happy I chose them, you can't go wrong, Derek will make you feel like your his only client!!

My husband and I are so happy to had Russells cater our wedding. We had so many comments from our guest on the wonderful food. Everything was perfect any we feel so lucky to have found them.

They were extremly easy to work with, Very flexible and acommidating. The Food was outstanding and I have recived more compliments on how great it was than on anything else. We had a huge group of people and I am sure it isn't easy to do, but the flow of the entire meal was Perfect. Thank You so much for all your hard work and quality service. I will be recomending them to anyone I know.

Russel's catering treated us like royalty by giving us a candelit dinner with champagne just for our tasting. The food was delicious and hot off the plate when it was served. It was nice to get great service and food without breaking our budget.

I absolutely loved Darek! He is very professional and everything got done exactly as I had asked. He is so experienced in this field that he made great suggestions when I didn't know what to do. I highly recommend Russell's Catering! What a great value too!

the food was awesome but the chicken was a little cold but the mansion did not have ovens so that maybe the problem.

We had the most wonderful food for our wedding reception. Everything was the right temperature (hot food hot and cold food cold) and everyone really enjoyed this food in the buffet setting we selected. We selected two meats, turkey and pork tenderloin. The turkey was absolutely wonderful! Large pieces with plenty to go around. The pork tenderloin was very moist and came with baked apples. Everyone loved it and couldn't stop talking about it all throughout the reception. I would highly recommend this caterer.

Derek was extreamly professional along with all of his staff. He was always very prompt in returning my calls, patient with my questions and available when I needed him. He comes with the highest recommendations.

The food was excellent. I had not been able to do a testing but they were able to set one up with our parents and they loved the food.
