After finding some a great dress at their store for a good price I was excited about my soon to be Rush bridal experience. But it all went downhill from there. Buying the dress was a great experience, but everything after that was awful. After letting them know the Bridesmaids were in different cities (outside of Minneapolis) they recommended getting all of the dresses here at Rush's and then I could give the dresses to them at the engagement party when they are all together. (no need to ship them). Well, the dresses showed up days after the engagement party so there was no way to hand deliver the dresses before the wedding. Not a big deal, as long as we can still get the dresses to them in time to have alterations done. (tick - tock!) After the dresses came in I went into the store to ask about the options to get them to my bridesmaids, which most of them are in Canada. Worried about the timing and price I asked if they would ship them for free for not meeting the time line we had hoped up front. They said no. Not even a sorry it didn't all work at the right time, but we can't pay for it. Just a flat out NO. Ok, well with no other options but to ship them I asked how much? Linda (store manager I guess) said $50. Knowing that items typically cost more then $50 to get across the border I asked several more times the same question - $50? Is that a total price? Nothing else? - Linda said Nope. Flat rate. Wow, that sounded great. I paid the $50 and left the store. Well, turns out it wasn't $50. It was almost $200. The $50 we paid up front and the $140 my bridesmaid had to pay COD in-order to get the dresses when they were delivered! I was so embarrassed and completely pissed-off. When I called the store to get a refund on the $140 additional costs to get the dresses to Canada (I figured it was just a huge mistake on their part) they told me they couldn't do anything about the $140 in additional charges. They didn't even apologize for it happened. Linda told me, over the phone, "it's not our fault" "we won't refund the money to you" "you can talk to the owner if you want to" What kind of customer service is that? Not even an apology? It was so frustrating. Lind just kept talking on the phone, explaining why it wasn't their fault. She wouldn't even listen to my explanation. Who taught her how to work with customers? Oh and we ordered the Groomsmen ties through Rush's as well and they arrived late.... Big shocker... Overall it was just an awful experience once the dresses were purchased. Signed, Not a fan of Rush's Bridal

Great Classic Bridal shop. I live in California, but grew up in Minneapolis and all of my family still lives in MN. So I found a dress in LA, but wanted to show my Mom and Sister it before I bought it. So, I did a retail search for the designer Enzoani and Rush's bridal showed up and they had the dress sample. When i flew home and told her where i made the appointment she was so excited because she bought her wedding dress from Rush's 26 years ago as well as all my aunts. So we got there and i was a little worried because the decor of the salon was well super out dated, but then i saw my dress and i didn't care. They were so sweet, when I told them I would like to purchase the dress, and told them my situation with living in California, they were like no problem we will send it to you for free and then they also told me to pick out a head piece and Vail for free ( a $400. value)! I was so excited I was able to get my dress, Head piece, Vail and get it shipped all in one day. Oh yea and no sales tax! Great dress, came perfect, don't be deterred from the decor, they do have beautiful dresses!

I have a hard time rating this, because I had a great experience, but it was the second place I went and the first dress I tried on and knew it was the one. I also was able to buy it off the rack because it fit perfectly and needed no alterations in sizing. I was only there an hour and did not have a reason to return.

The selection of dresses (both for bridal and attendants) within multiple price ranges was the reason I went with Rush's Bridal. The staff is young and not very professional or attentive, but they are nice. The also have a great sale / off the rack selection and don't mind if you come in without an appointment just to browse like the big box retailers.

We had an interesting experience with Rush's Bridal. I was able to find my wedding dress here for a great deal! It had arrived on a Friday and was being sold "off the rack" in perfect condition when I found it that Monday. It was beautiful! The wedding dresses are very classy. I had looked at other places and was treated poorly by the sales people.. not to mention that the dresses were made of horrid fabric. The sales staff here was really nice and gave us freedom to look around without wandering too far when we had questions. I got to take my wedding dress home that day! We also bought the bridesmaids dresses here... just two dresses. The were a beautiful color with great fabric. We ordered these and when they came in my mom (she's a professional seamstress) noticed that the ribbon on the dresses did not match. We returned the dresses to the store and the company sent two new dresses. These also did not match! The company said that the ribbon was up to their "standards" and if we didn't like them that was too bad. The sales staff at Rush's was very apologetic about this but there was nothing that they could do... I thought they could have given us a little discount at least (especially since my mom had to go out and buy all new ribbon, tear off the old stuff and replace it!). These dresses were around 220 dollars each and seeing that we only had two dresses to match you would think that there would have been something they could have done to make the situation right. I was disappointed in all this... I was lucky that my mom could fix it but that's a rare situation! Overall the experience was fine, and I loved the bridal gowns at Rush's Bridal. The bridesmaids dresses did turn out beautifully but we had to go to a lot of bother getting them like that!!!

I had been looking for months and found the only dress I wanted from a designer in Spain. The dress wasn't available to try on anywhere in the Twin Cities but only on special order. I was only browsing at Rush's with my best friend, before I even actually had my engagement ring because we had discussed the wedding date and knew that we may be running out of time to order a dress. When we walked in, my friend and I spotted the dress hanging near the door and fell in love. It was similar to the dress I had dreamed of, but BETTER and more beautiful. She and the sales woman brought the dress back to the dressing area. When I tried it on, we all started to tear up. My friend was like, "you HAVE to call him because this is THE dress and you won't find another like it." I called him and he said, "I had a feeling you'd find it today and I want you to get it." (he had already bought my ring months in advance...but it was hidden) Best of all, the dress fit me PERFECTLY right off of the rack - no alterations. It was a floor sample and I got $400 off of the retail price of the dress. I walked out that day with my dress, veil and tiara. What a whirlwind! It was such a fairy tale experience and everyone that's ever seen my dress has said that it is THE prettiest and most unique they've ever seen.

I got my wedding dress here and 6 brudesmaid dresses. They have the best selection of bridesmaid dresses in the TC area and are not pushy and don't try to make people order dresses way too big so they can alter them. Everythign was right on schedule. Nothing too fancy about Rush's but they just let you be and have good prices.
