Being an Architecture Major I fell in love with the aesthetics of this room for my reception. The recessed ceiling in the middle of the room was dramatic and awesome. Not a lot of decorating needed to be done (I am all about that) and the majority of the room is lined with windows! Gorgeous! The size of the Plymouth room is very grand! All the other venues seemed very small and without windows.

The Millenium Garden was beautiful for the ceremony, and the Plymouth room was very nice for the reception as well. Not many decorations were needed for either of them. It was very convenient to do both the ceremony and reception at one spot so our guests did not have to drive anywhere or wait very long to eat. There are a lot of strict rules to follow though, so make sure you read all fine print in the contract ahead of time.

The Millenium Garden is a beautiful, affordable place to have an outdoor ceremony. You don't need to buy flowers for the ceremony (to decorate) because there are already so many there. The lawn area fits a good number of chairs (I believe we had about 250) while leaving room for the conter aisle. It also has paths down the side and in the front. The sound system was a little shoddy--test it before you count on it. Overall, though it was a wonderful place to get married and I would highly recommend it!I also had my reception there (in the Plymouth Room). It was also a nice, affordable place. It has a balcony and large windows around about 3/4 of the room which brings in a lot of light. The scenery is pretty--the room looks out over the garden and over a marshy area. We got a discount on both the garden and the room for booking them together, which was nice, too.
