Thea was excellent to work with. She made our wedding cake exactly as I had envisioned it. It was beautiful and tasted very good too. I would recommend finding a picture of what you want, or pictures of details you want. This really helped Thea get it exactly right!

Had the best experience with Thea from The Perfect Day Cakes. She had lots of great ideas and really listened to what we wanted in a wedding cake, including two different flavors for the same price! (Husband I aren't cake-flavor compatible :)) As soon as she sketched up our prototype we knew our cake would be exactly what we wanted, and it was beautiful! Also I really wanted to work with a smallocal business rather than a chain or a grocery store, SO glad we were able to find someone in Owatonna! Our cakes were lemon with mixed berry filling ( Thea was VERY flexible with flavors!) and a chocolate cake with caramel filling, and both were by far the most delicious cake I've ever had! My husband and I wanted cheesecake but I wasn't sure all of our guests would like that so I decided to do half cheesecake and half traditional wedding cake. But then I was worried because I didn't want my cakes to look different. Thea made it all perfect, you couldn't tell the cheesecake from the traditional cake on the outside, and they tasted wonderful!

Our wedding cake was absolutely beautiful. I had no worries on my wedding day that anything would go wrong, especially the cake. It looked amazing and it tasted great!

From the first tasting through the wedding day, Perfect Day cakes was so helpful. Almost every guest commented that our cakes were the best they ever tasted. We had a small 3 tier cake and sheet cakes to serve. the choices of cakes, fillings and frostings were fabulous.

We decided for our wedding to not have just the traditional cake for dessert and Perfect Day Cakes helped us make our wedding dessert special. We decided on a small traditional cake for the head table, which was outstanding and then for the dessert table we had cupcakes and apple pies, since it was the fall. We received many compliments on the desserts and were very happy with everything. In fact we are going to order our same wedding cake for our anniversary!
