Oak Ridge Hotel and Conference Center

What a great place to have an "all inclusive" wedding. From the facility, lodging, food/catering, florist, cake we were so impressed! Patricia was so helpful to make the day worry free! I would highly recommend Oak Ridge!

If you are getting married in the Metro area, you MUST check out Oak Ridge Conference Center. I am from Rochester, MN but absolutely fell in love with Oak Ridge the second I walked through the door. The venue is absolutely beautiful! The property is well maintained and the views from the back are amazing. The reception areas are classy and clean. The food is absolutely fantastic! But what truly sets Oak Ridge apart from many other venues is the people. Everyone there is so friendly, accomodating, and personable. From the second I stepped foot in the door the first day to look at the venue, to the day after our wedding, the people at Oak Ridge went above and beyond to make my experience unique and amazing! I cannot write enough good things about my experience with Oak Ridge. They truly made my wedding day the most special and magical day I could have hoped for!!!

This place is wonderful. Everything is included, such as centerpieces, flowers, decorations, and the cake, which makes it so much easier for a busy bride! You work with a wedding coordinator that helps you every step of the way. On your wedding day, they make sure that everything runs smoothly and that they stick to a timeline. Loved this place!

Sam, my wedding coordinator, was amazing! She really helped to ensure the day went off without a hitch. She constantly ensured that I was comfortable and relaxed and helped to make sure I didn't have to worry about anything. Many guests told me that Oak Ridge was a beautiful place and I am glad we chose it as our venue.

The most wonderful, beautiful, and easiest place to plan a wedding!! The staff are very professional and easy to work with. Wonderful food, great location for out of town guests yet tucked behind all the businesses on many acres and on a lake so you feel miles away. On sight hotel for guests there make it more convenient for all your geusts to come and go as they please. On site pastry chef that makes the most beautiful cakes ever that taste so wonderful. Everything is included in the price so you done have to worry about working with so many vendors. This was the easiest part of our wedding to put together. You definitely HAVE to see this place and keep it in mind for your wedding!! They have great winter package prices too. the only problem we had was some of our guests had room keys that stopped working and had to pick up a new one at the front desk.

My husband and I had a GREAT experience at Oak Ridge. They were always availible to answer questions and to remind us of things we may have over looked or forgotten. The day of the wedding was perfect. I didn't have to worry about anything and we were given a room to get ready in and relax before the ceremony. We did the princess package which we thought was a good deal. We were able to have a good time with our family and friends. At the end of the night we were welcomed at our suite with a bottle of champaigne and chocolate covered cherried (my favorite), which was a perfect way yo end a perfect day. I would recommend Oak Ridge to anyone. You can customized the wedding of your dreams.

Throughout the planning process the event coordinator that handled our wedding was very professional and responded very quickly. She responded to my ideas and was honest with her opinions. She gave me great recommendations for other vendors to go through. The day of our wedding I felt like I was treated like a princess...sounds cheesy but it's true. It was relaxing because Samantha was there to take care of any mishaps. One thing that was slightly upsetting is that there was another wedding at Oak Ridge that same weekend and I wasn't aware of this--the other wedding party was taking pictures on our ceremony site when our photographer arrived. If you go with this vendor, just ask if you'll need to reserve spaces for photography. The biggest appeal to my husband and I was that all costs were included in this price... ceremony rental, food, linens, mirrors and candles for the tables, cake (since we went through a recommended vendor), etc. It was so easy to write one check rather than many.

This is a beautiful hotel! The outdoor arbors made for the perfect setting for our outdoor ceremony! The grounds were gorgeous and the staff extremely friendly! We were the only event at the hotel for the entire weekend and everyone seemed to want to make our wedding so special from the event staff to the front desk and even the recreation staff! The family that stayed at the hotel for the weekend had a wonderful experience as well! The food prepared by the chef and his staff was delicious and tasted exactly as it did at our tasting! Jocelyn did a wonderful job helping me put everything together from 1500 miles away. This was the 4th family wedding held at the venue over the last 25 years and it was everything we'd hoped it would be! Thank you everyone at the DoubleTree for all you did!

Oak Ridge was an amazing place to have my ceremony and reception. Our wedding was the weekend before Christmas so the decorations were already done. Samantha handled our wedding and she did a great job! The portions for the food were perfect and no one left hungry.

We had our reception at Oak Ridge. We absolutely loved it and we've gotten rave reviews from everyone who attended. They do a great job from day one when you tour and meet with the event planner until after the wedding, I'm still getting emails from Patricia to make sure everything is wrapped up properly. They provide the in-house coordination of the event and can handle any and all aspects you want them to (DJ, flowers, decor, etc). We did the Princess package and added some touches like s'mores on the patio. Our guests were thrilled with this! Overall, the best part about Oak Ridge was how they run the show so smoothly. I had no worries about our reception. The food was FABULOUS, the venue was gorgeous (love the outside/inside flow and beautiful lake setting), the staff was superb, and the hotel was a great (and reasonably priced!) accommodation for our guests who partied hard!
