Northern Lights Video

When we decided we wanted a videographer at our wedding, we set up several appointments with different companies. After meeting with Jeff, we felt like our decision to go with him was easy. He answered all of our questions and was very easy to talk to. In addition, he was very flexible with package options and allowed us to build our own package based on what we wanted. Jeff showed up the day of our wedding and did such a great job filming all the important moments yet wasn't obstructive. He captured the details of our wedding day and put them together in several beautiful edited videos. Jeff also listened to our requests about music used in the video, including picking songs from a list of suggestions we came up with to use in the video (which I really appreciated because I was somewhat picky about the music). When we got our video back a couple months ago, we were so happy to see our day on film and to be able to share it with family and friends. He even included some extras that we didn't originally request, which was very nice of him. I've gotten so many compliments on the quality and style of our video, including some family members who said they wished they could go back to their wedding day so they could have Jeff film it.

The first time Ivan and I sat down to watch the video, we cried.  The cinematic recap and it's music welled us both up with emotion and seeing tears fall onscreen made tears fall in our living room. Each time we watch it, we're magically transported back to that heavenly day. The way Jeff captured the happiness, humor, joy, nerves, love...it's really unbelievable...absolutely beautiful. We are so grateful to have this living, breathing memento of the happiest day of our lives.  We will cherish it forever. Thank you, thank you, and thank you again.

Jeff was amazing! We had heard such good things about him from other people that we had him do our wedding in Madison, WI. He was wonderful. WE didn't even realize he was there most of the time which was a good thing. He was very professional and sent an amazing "preview" of our video just a few short weeks after the wedding. I would highly recommend Jeff to anyone who wants a quality video of their wedding.

We weren't sure if we wanted a videographer at our wedding at first. When we saw the final video, I couldn't believe how amazing it turned out and was more thrilled with the video than our photography!!!! Jeff's ability to capture your day and put it in an artistic story is truly incredible. I still cry everytime I watch it; and I watch the recap frequently. You will not be disappointed with his professionalism or his work. We have had some other friends have other companies or family/friends do their videos, and they have even said they are jealous of how great ours turned out. We got copies for both of our parents and even one for my grandma. They love to show it to our family and friends! I can honestly say that I would have sacrificed several other things that we had for our wedding (limo, traveling photo booth) to have NLV! Our video is invaluable and the best momento we have from our big day!!!!!

It was a lot of money, but I couldn't have been happier with the end result. Had I known his stills from video would've been this good, I wouldn't have needed a photographer. A regular person can't tell the difference between the two, and he got some of the extra-special moments. When I got the final copies, there was some coverage that was missing from the edited product- he made it right and went above and beyond. Jeff did a great job at capturing our ceremony as well as all the before and after moments. He worked well with our photographer (whom he had never met) and made a great video of our special event. Jeff is very knowledgeable, answered all our questions, and provides good service - we would definitely recommend him!
