Lutsen Resort

We were married at Lutsen on Memorial Day weekend, 2011. Lutsen made everything so easy, and on the big day we just had to focus on getting married and celebrating with our guests. (No worrying about food or beverage logistics, timing issues, or anything like that.) The food at dinner was fabulous (our guests are still talking about it), the service at dinner and at the reception was exceptionally friendly and very professional, and we felt like Lutsen had so much experience in the wedding arena that we were to ally in good hands. I highly, highly recommend a Lutsen Resort wedding... we were totally impressed and will be back to celebrate many anniversaries!

So our outdoor wedding became an indoor wedding quickly as the rain began to pour down... Lutsen staff didn't flinch. They moved the ceremony to their ballroom (that we were able to set up the day before for the dance, so we had decor in there already) and it honestly turned out better than the outdoor ceremony would have. I'm an outdoorsy gal, and really had my heart set on an outdoor wedding, but the ballroom ended up being the most intimate, beautiful setting for the ceremony we could ask for. Guests stood up on the balcony and in the chairs and we felt SURROUNDED by our loved ones. The dinner was amazing... for handling 160 people you would have thought they were just serving a table of 4. Quick, responsive, and amazing food. The dance was amazing... the ballroom was the perfect fit for us. I could not have asked for a better venue for our wedding!!

We couldn't have asked for a better destination then the Lutsen Resort. It has been a favorite of ours for several years and it was perfect for our wedding. The food was great and the staff is so helpful and nice. The ceremony site (right on the lake) it perfect and so beautiful!

Lutsen is amazing!

Our ceremony on the beach was BEAUTIFUL-although it snowed (wed on May16)! The staff were very accomodating and our families enjoyed spending the weekend there. A beautiful room was provided for "the girls" to dress in and Martin communicated with me throughout the day to ensure my satisfaction. The food was fantastic and everything went off without a hitch! It was an amazing wedding that all of our friends and family continue to rave about!

Beth and Martin were absolutely wonderful to work with! The venue was perfect, the staff were all very nice and we were confident that it would get done right. Lutsen Resort is more than just a beautiful location - it's the perfect place to get married. Every question we had was answered promptly, Beth and Martin remembered every detail, they let us bring some of our decorations up the weekend before and Tina answered all of our accounting questions. It was worth every penny! The tent on the deck was a great addition if it rains (like it did for our Groom's Dinner).

Absolutely the best service, tastiest and most exquisite food, and most flexible cost and service for a very splendid atmosphere and event. They did EVERYTHING we needed (and more!) Ask for Beth-she's amazing! i would HIGHLY recommend having your wedding on the North Shore (you can do it outdoors on their beach- or simply a brunch or dinner in the dining room as we did, or even a full dance and dinner in the lodge) It's FANTASTIC!
