We ordered the dessert cakes that Hy-Vee has began carrying in Tiramisu, Lemon, and Chocolate, and served them individually on the tables. They were EXCELLENT.

The only thing that went wrong on the day was my flowers from Hy-Vee Floral (Hilltop).
I paid for large gerbera daisies for my bridesmaids, and what I was delivered were small (fragile) ones, so it looked like they were carrying around an elaborate boutenierre that kept falling apart.
Next, we had arranged where to meet them for delivery, and instead they handed the flowers off to the crew at the ceremony site that was setting up.
DO NOT GET FLOWERS FROM THEM!

Customized a cake for me based of elements of several pictures I supplied. Cost much less for what I actually wanted then the cakes the country club could provide that looked nothing like what I wanted.

For my wedding cake, I literally just drew a picture of what I wanted because I lost my original photo. HyVee created the most gorgeous cake that was way beyond my expectations. And just from my chicken scratch drawing!
My Flowers were also done with HyVee. Again, with little guidance from me, they turned out to be exceptional! The combination of orchids and roses seemed a little quirky to me at first, but they were gorgeous!

Our cake was beautiful, delicious and VERY affordable! I would HIGHLY recommend Hy-Vee for your wedding cake. Out of all the vendors on our wedding day, they did the best job!!!

Hyvee was able to provide me with an affordable cake for my guests and a little baby cake for "the cutting" of the cake. I wasn't really fancy but that was ok - it tasted really good!
