Hennepin County Library-Minneapolis Central

My reception was at the Minneapolis Central Library, and my husband and I loved the way everything turned out. The library is in a great location in downtown Minneapolis, which made it easy for everyone to get to, and it was close to many hotels. It was an amazing space for a wedding, because it was so unique and the architecture was so interesting. And because many of the walls are made of glass, you also get great views of the city. The interesting architecture also made for some really stunning photographs. Another nice thing about the library is that you get to use a lot of the space. The cocktail reception is held on the second floor, and it is also possible to set things up in the conference room on that floor, which provides even more space to work with. The main reception – dinner and dancing – takes place downstairs in the main atrium, which then gives guests a chance to explore that area as well. Overall, it was a very memorable, unique, and beautiful place for a wedding reception!

We love the library, so this site was perfect. The views from the balcony were incredible (we used the balcony for our cocktail hour). Knowledgeable people, and helpful.
