Hanisch Bakery and Coffee Shop

Robyn and the staff at Hanisch's created a beautiful cake and delicious cake pops for my wedding in July 2011 in Winona, MN. Hanisch's is my hometown bakery and even though I was marrying elsewhere, I wanted them to be a part of my day. They were willing to make the trip for a manageable fee and everything turned out beautifully. The cake pops were a total hit and I'd recommend them to anyone who wants something fun and trendy at their reception. My advice is to order twice as many as you think you'll need because I guarantee that people will take 2 or more- just because they're fun to try. They were around the same per slice cost of their cake so pricing is really reasonable. I had nothing but compliments all night long and in the weeks after. I wish I could post a photo!

The Cake Turned out Beautifully!

The cake was just the way I pictured it and it tasted better than I thought. It was a bit pricey, but for what I got, it was totally worth it. The people were easy to work with and made, decorated, and delivered the cake without any problems.

GREAT vendor. The cake was amazing and they worked with our florist on adding flowers between the tiers. I am still shocked on how such a custom and beautiful cake could cost so little! This vendor is HIGHLY recommended.

Nancy was great. She took lots of notes and was very responsive. I had one small wedding cake and each table had it's own uniquely flavored and decorated cake as a center piece. She made 8 different flavors and they were delicious! I had guests raiding eachother's tables to sample each of the amazing flavors. Our cake was beautiful and was still really yummy afterbeing frozen for an entire year!
