Laura is an excellent baker. We have always loved eating her cupcakes, and we were thrilled when we found out she did wedding cakes. In the end, we got an assortment of cupcakes and a 6" cutting cake. We gave her just a little guidance in decorating and then let her work her magic. Everything was beautiful! Her work fit in perfectly with our winter wedding. And, best of all, everything tastes fabulous. We had some leftover cupcakes (and she loaned us a box to take them home in!), and we enjoyed eating them for days. Pro tip: order more chocolate than the other flavors. That was definitely the most popular! Finally, Laura is smooth and professional. She replies to emails quickly, sets up a table beautifully, and is an overall joy to work with. I had every confidence (and no doubts) in having her as one of our vendors. I imagine we will also order other cakes from her in the future. You can't go wrong with Confectionary Cake Shop!

I couldn't be happier with Confectionery Cake Shop! Laura provided us with cakes balls as party favors for our guests and they were AMAZING! Since the wedding, I have had numerous guests come up to my husband and I and ask who made them? Of course we replied, Confectionery Cake Shop! The cake balls tasted just like you were eating a piece of cake, They were one of the best deserts I have ever had! I would certainly purchase the cake balls again! The wedding cake was beautiful. She went far beyond my expectsions of what my wedding cake would look like. And most important it was so delicious! The next day we only had the bottom layer of our three tierd cake. We had three sheet cakes and the wedding cake. Everyone was telling how delicious the cake was! The Confectionery Cake Shop, and the owner Laura, is truly amazing! She made us the most ornate and delicious cake for our wedding! Each loop, flower, and ribbon was perfectly placed, and the flavor was like nothing I have ever tasted before. Our cake was one of the most talked about things of the night and everyone was asking if we had any left over for them to take home! I strongly encourage any bride or groom out there to visit with Laura of the Confectionery Cake Shop too. She is a breath of fresh air, and can really capture your ideas and put them in cake form. Confectionery Cake Shop provided cupcakes for our wedding guests as well as a Groom's Cake for cutting at the reception. We received numerous compliments from our guest on the tasty cupcakes. We were glad to be able to work with a small business owner directly since most caterers seem to be so large and too busy to have a one on one relationship. Laura was extremely responsive and exceeded all our expectations. We never had one worry about the appearance and taste of our desserts. Highly recommend this vendor!

Laura is a very personable woman, which is great when you're under the stress of planning a wedding. She was very flexible with us, and allowed us to add on an extra dessert for our rehearsal dinner at the very last minute. The cake we ordered for the head table was great, (a vanilla/chocolate cake with strawberry filling) and the rest-cupcakes, were equally as delicious. Two things I enjoyed outside of Laura's personality were how well the cup cakes held up days after the wedding (our turn out was smaller than expected and we had extra), and that she didn't insist we use fondant on the head-table cake. All around, I really enjoyed working with Laura, and my husband says she was our "best vendor"!
