Buttercream makes amazing cakes. Anyone should consider them for their wedding cakes -- or anything cake related, really. The cake tasting was great and they created the perfect cake for our wedding. It looked great and tasted amazing!

Hands down there is no cake out there that tastes better than Buttercream! (Trust us, we went all over the Twin Cities eating cake and no one came close!) I was hesitant at first because I knew how good they were so I thought they would be expensive, but they turned out to be priced better than most other vendors. We will definitely be using Buttercream the next time we need a cake for any occasion!

We decided to go with cupcakes instead of a traditional wedding cake. Being that we used Lancer Catering, it was easiest to go with Buttercream for our cupcakes. They were very responsive whenever we contacted them. The cupcakes tasted amazing! The service was not exemplary though. Sometimes when we would call we would get different answers when we tried to confirm things. When we went in for our cupcake tasting, they couldn't find the file we started and we had to go through all of our information again. However, they do take a lot of pride in their cupcake. While delivering our cupcakes to the reception, some of them were damaged in transport. They immediately called the bakery and got replacement cupcakes made. The cupcakes were there without anyone really noticing that some where missing.

I was very happy with our buttercream wedding cake. We chose two different flavors: white cake with raspberry filling, and chocolate cake with bailey irish cream filling. We received lots of compliments and ended the night with very little cake left! Now we just have to wait a year to get our complimentary cake tier!

Our wedding cake was amazing--exactly what we wanted!! We had three different flavors and each was delicious. They were very easy to work with and flexible with our schedules.

After visiting many other cake shops in the Twin Cities, Buttercream was our cake of choice for our wedding and rehearsal dinner. We were amazed with their light butter cream frosting and use of natural and quality ingredients. They offered us many different options for our cake and were willing to make any design we desired. For our rehearsal dinner cake, they created a custom Twizzler cake for my candy loving husband.
The staff was friendly and professional and offered unique suggestions for creating our ideal design. The outcome was a beautiful, unique and delicious cake! Our guests from all over the country are still raving about how our wedding cake was the best cake they’ve ever had at a wedding!

Great tasting cake, we received comments about it all night, and for weeks afterward. It was a bit hard to contact them about last minute details, they wouldn't call back when I would leave a message, but overall great tasting cake.

Amazing! Our venue has a contract with them, so they turned out to be the most affordable for us. But even if they weren't, we still would have gone with them. They're SO good. They are priced just a little higher than some of the other options we looked at, but worth every penny. Super yummy with lots of different options. Even though I was sick with an awful cold at our tasting, I still could not get enough of the cake--and I'm not even really a "cake person." The Amoretto was my favorite. Great customer service, great set-up, great presentation, great business, great everything! Thanks so much!

This was the easiest vendor to select, as they have been the cake vendor at a lot of other weddings I have attended, so I was definitely excited to have them at my wedding! They are very consultatative, as we spent a long time reviewing pictures with them and I feel that they helped me design my dream wedding cake!

The cake was delicious. The tasting really made up for some bad tastings. However delivery was very expensive so you may want to plan to have the cakes delivered another way.

Best cake ever! Everyone thought is was fondant because it looked flawless, but then they received their slice and realized that it was not fondant but, nummy buttercream frosting that is not sugary, but actually delicious. The cake tasting was also amazing, so much cake to choose from. The cake looked amazing and better yet, tasted amazing!

They do have communication problems in the company, which is weird for the "best" cake bakery in the Twin Cities.
Our cake did not turn out exactly as we asked, but their improvisations were very well done. Everyone complimented us on it.

Very good cake. They designed it custom to exactly what we wanted and even threw in a few extra small cakes. They even added the flowers to it for no cost. It was delicious. The variety of flavors was impressive!

The cake was decorated just as we asked. They did have the flavors down wrong when they called to confirm a few weeks before the wedding day, but on the day of they had everything correct which is what matters! We got many compliments on the cake.

Buttercream provided the greatest cupcakes for our wedding. They were much bigger than I thought they would be. Our guests couldn't stop talking about the great choice of flavors we had ( almond praline, baileys Irish cream, raspberry, and carrot cake). They only problem we had was in the payment (my credit card was charged twice so I had to pay a double charge right before the wedding). Overall, the quality of the cupcakes outweighed the problem with payment.
