My experience with Adagio was simply wonderful! I received many compliments on the music at our wedding. They played our pre-ceremony music, our cocktail & dinner music, and our wedding dance music. Our DJ was excellent! At the dance, she was very careful to play requests quickly, which my guests (and my husband) loved. She payed great attention to what songs were keeping people on the dance floor and kept that feeling going. I coudn't have been more pleased with the dance!I love their website, where you can go in and set up all your music for your wedding. It was so convenient! I would find that I would be driving in my car and hear a song I wanted, so I'd pop onto their website when I got home and add it in. I didn't pick too many songs, but allowed the DJ a lot of freedom to choose what to play in order to keep people dancing. She did that perfectly!I highly recommend Adagio for stress-free planning, professional service, and friendly employees. I found our DJ to be professional and very happy to assist us. Overall, it was a great experience and I couldn't have been happier.

Fun dj...kept the dance floor hopping with people all night. Used my songs and arranged them to keep the dance floor entertaining.

We worked with Matt Rush, who was our DJ. I have nothing bad at all to say about Adagio. We had a very had time finding a DJ because our number one requirement was to know who our DJ was in advance of our reception because we were to wed in Italy and honeymoon in Europe for a month prior to our Minneapolis, MN reception. Since we only had a week between returning to the U.S. and our reception we wanted all details taken care of prior to leaving for our wedding, just in case we didn't "click" with our DJ. Adagio is the only DJ company that we interviewed with that would not charge us a fee for asking for a specific DJ and they went above and beyond making sure all details were final before we left for our wedding - something other DJ companies also would not do. Matt knew our concerns and had a full dance floor the entire reception. I really could go on and on about how happy I was with Matt and Adagio. I would gladly recommend them to every bride or party planner. This was the only vendor we had that was completely stress free.

We had Jeremy from Adagio as the DJ at our wedding and he did a wonderful job! He made sure that the reception flowed easily and kept everyone dancing until midnight. We wanted a DJ that kept the party going without being too over the top and he filled that role perfectly. Adagio was very easy to work with, we did all of our planning online and were even able to pay online (very affordable). I would highly recommend them!

Our event coordinator was a last minute replacement and she had no idea what she was doing. As the groom I was not happy that my reception was not being run well with this person. Our DJ from Adagio recognized this and seemed to take over the managing of the reception while at the same time keeped the music going and getting guests to fill the dance floor. I don't know how he was able to do his job (and do it well) but also keep the event flowing. He made sure the toast after dinner was on time, the cake made it to the main room (downstairs from the dinner hall) and all of the other important moments that we wanted where done on time. I don't think our event coordinator needed to be there at all. The DJ from Adagio was all we needed. I will recommend Adagio to any and every one I talk to, married or not!

Our DJ was alot of fun! People danced from the first song, til the last! Very professional looking and great job advertising! The CD is what got me! :)

I am absolutely floored with the quality of service we received from Adagio on our wedding day. It was absolutely wonderful! Adagio's website was a great way for me to understand more of what the dj was supposed to do for us which was extremely helpful since I really had no idea what to look for in a DJ! I really appreciated their section of Play/Do not play songs with suggestions that I probably wouldn't have thought of, no chicken dance or macarena for us!!!! I had even marked one as do not play even if requested when I really didn't know what the song was. When my maid of honor requested it, she had to come and drag me over to the DJ for approval. He was determined to go by exactly what we had provided (a definite plus!)I would definitely recommend their services to anyone and that of our DJ himself, Andrew, he did a superb job and was extremely professional the entire time.

I can't recommend Adagio enough. The DJs are professional and classy, the music and service top-notch ... at least three peopled booked Adagio after hearing the DJ at our wedding! LOVE the web site where you can select your song choices. Very well done!

I was so happy when I found Adagio for our DJ service. Finding a DJ can be a little difficult because you want someone fun that you and also the guests will enjoy. I loved that we could use the website to design our DJ experience. We selected music we wanted for various parts of the evening and were even able to select music we did not want played (even if requested by guests!). I felt like we were really in control of the evening before the wedding even arrived. The coordinator called us before our event in order to go over our music choices and get additional information. We had everything planned out and I felt very confident that things would go well... which they did! The DJs at our wedding checked in with us often to make sure they were playing music we liked (we hadn't selected a lot of songs from the playlist, just suggested certain styles we enjoyed). Our guests seemed to really enjoy the music as well... we were dancing the whole night!

Given that our wedding was in 2006 and we were just now asked to do this review, it's a little hard to remember the details of the service. But our overall impression was that Adajio was very easy to work with before and during our wedding reception. They were very flexible, and were sure to accommodate our wishes and desires before our guests'. There were a few specific songs we didn't want played, and when guests requested them, the DJ asked us first how we would feel about it - and if we said no, it wasn't played! :) Our guests had a great time, and everything went off without a hitch. The company and the DJ were very professional and went beyond our expectations. They knew what to do - even when we didn't, such as having background music going through the toasts but at a real low volume. Would hire them again without hesitation.

Best DJ ever. Very professional and classy. Were able to select our entire playlist, genres of music we preferred and give a list of absolute "no's." Would absolutely recommend Adagio.

Adagio was fantastic. Our DJ kept the floor packed until the very end. He did a great job of making sure we were having fun, which was nice of him. I found the rate to be competitive with other DJs in the area. The online planner made things very easy.

We had Krista as our dj and she was great. She really stuck to our preferences and she had the dance floor packed all night!When I had my final call with Adagio a few weeks prior to the wedding, I requested the bugle call to the post from the horse races, as my husband loves it. They came through with it and I was so excited they were able to surprise my husband with it. I never saw the dj set up or break down. They have no signage or ridiculous inflatable instruments. In all, the most professional dj company I've ever seen at a wedding. I highly recommend them.

Adagio did a great job and were very receptive and accommodating to our wishes. We wanted cool background music for the most part with some fun dance music. Our DJ did a great job and wasn't over intrusive.

We had Jon as our DJ and he was absolutely wonderful! I had requested one of the other DJs who was out of town the weekend of our wedding (which is why I took one off for flexibility), but looking back we were really glad we were assigned to Jon. He made sure all details were set, even calling us a couple days before the wedding to go over the small stuff since we had so many changes. During the wedding, everything went very smoothly and the dance floor was packed all night. Highly highly recommended! (I took a star off for cost- you can negotiate a deal if you email them directly.)

Adagio did a great job as a DJ for our reception. They had a great variety of music and our dance floor was full the entire time.

We used Adagio to order invitations, as well as to provide a sound system for our outdoor ceremony and DJ services at the reception.For invitations, it was very much death by decision for us. There were so many choices and although our contact, Krista, did her best to narrow it down for us, this was the one argument we had in the planning of our wedding. I wish that there had been fewer choices. Also, the prices were a little extravagant for invitations and save the dates. In retrospect, I wish we had done a lot more research about invitations. For the music and ceremony sound, I can not recommend Adagio highly enough. The DJ was super professional. We gave him very little guidance (I think we told him no rap and keep people on the dance floor) and he did just that. We had some problems with the electrical system at the reception site (boo Summit Manor), but the DJ handled the stress of the system cutting out very well and he made adjustments quickly. Adagio also was very flexible when we added the outdoor ceremony sound only about a week before the event. The online event planner for music was a waste of time. It assumes you are having a very traditional ceremony and reception. We ended up going over everything we typed in with our contact person anyway. All show and no go, if you will.Overall, the final product of music and sound was fantastic. Our contact person, Krista, was very responsive to email and was a very calming presence in the hectic planning. I would highly recommend this vendor for music.
